I'm no poet nor lover
That early spring we stood at night -
Just only you and I.
We talked and kissed in the moonlight,
The stars were shining high.
The moon was casting glance at us.
Your face was captivating me.
You told me with enthusiasm:
Such beauty there, don't you see?
But looking at the Milky Way
I mumbled somewhat fast:
-We'll perish under it one day.
You suddenly felt aghast.
I messed up all the things thereby,
That killed your enthusiasm and fervor.
And caught with the side of my eye -
I'm no poet nor lover whatsoever.

That early spring we stood out night - ...i suggest at night or one night That died your enthusiasm and fervor. ........maybe killed for died? your third stanza is like a Rothschild (aka Fabergé) egg: FABULOUS! ! but, let's face it: you 'BLEW IT in the romance competition! ! ! ! ; ( (cont.) ..
Or my dear friend it's only now that I've noticed so dear to me your editions of my poem. I'm so thankful to you, that I have no words to express my feelings. I gladly accept your corrections. In Russia we say that thanks is not to be pored into the glass. Meaning that you can't drink it. :))))
This poem has not been translated into any other language yet.
