I Never Knew
I never knew I loved you so
Till you said the final goodbye
I was loved, cared and cherished
Every moment you were with me
You adorned me with jewellery
and with the finest clothing
You showered me your love
And my heart lept with joy
Love is sweet, love is joy
Love gives peace, love is eternal
Love is pleasant, love is tranquil
Love is when two hearts unite
And bring forth songs
That touch the lover's heart

It is very true that love is sweet and joy, gives peace, love is eternal, pleasant, tranquil and one can experience that love when two hearts unite. May you cherish and grow in the love that was showered upon you. Great poem.
