I Never Said Goodbye
'do you love me'' you aked
'of cours' I answerd
Then tell me goodbye' you said
I stared at you and your impossible request
Then answered
“How can I tell you goodbye
When we'll only be parted for a short time
Compared to our forever in haven'
You looked at me
Then the nurse walked in
I went home and waited
It seemed like forever
But there it was
The phone rang
Right before bed
It was the hospital
You where on your way home
And all I wanted to do was
Tell you “I love you Daddy'
