When I reached
The unknown land,
I realised its strange atmosphere,
Someone said,
"See me,
I am beautiful, "
Again someone said,
"See me,
I am lovely, "
I saw everyone
With my profound eyes
And found that all are ugly;
Then I went to a remote corner
And saw an insignificant soul there,
I examined him minutely
With my impeccable eyes
And then found real beauty and loveliness
In his pure and innocent core.
The beauty lies in the heart of the beholder. Nice poem.5 stars
Inner beauty can only be found with time spent. You have to look with more then just your eyes. Words spoken, conversation had, opinions expressed. Actions seen, deeds done, promises made. Excellent poem, keep up the good work.
