You travel the big, wide and magnificent world
From exotic foreign country to cold foreign country
Sitting on packed buses, coaches, rocky boats
Cross-country trains and neverending airplanes
You familiar with busy and bustling airports,

You send affectionate kisses faithfully home
You tell me I'm not here alone
That you are sure of your deep felt love
That you are mine alone through the madness
Your absence recalling my heartfelt sadness,

True love from a distance of millions of miles
Our love songs playing on the nostalgic radio
Us imagining we can do like Phyllis Nelson
And move closer, arms and body uniting
But we are too far apart to tenderly touch,

Your work complex and pulling us apart
But we reside in each other's heart
We will join together once more
Our love greater than before
For we are soulmates that can never be pulled apart,

I shall bring you back safely home
Where you are never alone
And we shall never be apart again
Our love stronger than any violent storm
As my open arms shall kiss your desirable mouth.
