I Speak Of What I Saw And I Talk Of What I Heard

Gifted with pleasant minds
Blessed with capable hands
The light sparkling in their intelligence
And the blows of work
Dignifiying their resilence

The flows of introspection
That bare to the world inspiration
'We Believe! ' And so you said
But now people see
And all the hope is dead

We all lived a virgin
Knowing less of the given vision
'We Believe! ', the statements you made
But expectations are now gone
All the faith has fade

Yesterday we saw policies that never succeed
Instead we see lies that dare not to bleed
'We Believe! ' Words that we all head
But unfortunately
Never thought today we will be left sad

Ýes! Oh Yes!
today!
Today the words you speak are the same
Because we all know that they signify the cheats of the game
'We Believe! ', lines that you disposed
now we all live
To sing a song that we never opposed

Listen!
We were fools
Yet you went on to act as old bulls
You took away the loyalty we had
And we were left with poverty, too bad!
'We believe! ' those lines we confessed
But now there is no life we are just obsessed

Colonialism!
I speak
Colonialism
I talk

We all need the truth, we deserve more than lies. A great poem.

Politicians, the code they live bye is 'LIE' without it theyre doomed.how are they going to deliver a pulse racing speech, keep the adrenaline high during campagns. Its like we prefer to be lied to than the truth. Magnificent write, thank you for sharing.
