I Want Poem by Anne Yun

I Want

Rating: 5.0

I want feelings, of warmth or coldness
I want emotions, of passion or sadness

I want vulnerabilities, to tell me my strengths
I want insecurities, to lead me to secure faiths

I want words, to comb my life through
I want love, to soak my words through

I want possibilities, uncertainties, varieties, everything that can enrich the future
I want recollections, reflections, evaluations, everything that can purify the past

But what i want the most, is far more than these

I want you to be you
I want me to be me

I am speechless I don't know what to say but i am going to do my best to, truly magnificent art my friend you want recollections, reflections, evaluations, that can purify the past I feel the same way I have done so many wrongs it makes my future hard to deal with but for you to write like this is going to ease up on the things in your past. Please don't ever stop writing.

Very nicely done. The symmetry, the antithetical contrasts, the rhythm. very enjoyable. :)

Thought's flow round and round inside your mind. Could he but see the kind of girl I am. Then I would fly so high the sky would touch my wing's. Then I would close his eyes to what I've seen.. iip

This is truly a Poem of Hope. You throw out a wide net and pull in many examples of what you hope for, any one of which will enrich your life. The language is direct and unshadowed by doubt or failure. You are simply equal to the task of achieving the poem and laying a foundation for further

Yes, by knowing the full range of feelings, you become yourself. This passion for life reminds me LUST FOR LIFE, a biographical novel about Vincent Van Gogh. // In an uncanny way, your poem echoes one that I recently translated: THE WEIGHT OF A SPONGE. I invite you to read it.
