I Wrote A Poem For You - Poem by Dhruv Dikshit

Eyes even without a liner,
Can’t help at all to make’em finer.
Hair so brilliantly straight,
Thinking of it could decide my fate.
I eventually had nothing else to do,
Than to write a poem for you.

Lips so juicy and red,
Fans follow as they are spread.
Blinking with the beautiful lashes,
Even stones could burn into ashes.
I eventually had nothing else to do,
Than to write a poem for you.

Expressions worthy to become fashion,
Best ones are important, not the mansion.
Jealous of the air for touching it always,
The skin that like a feather sways.
I eventually had nothing else to do,
Than to write a poem for you.

Rhythmic and elegant – The blessed walk,
Even the nerds couldn’t help but stalk.
Voice so pure to the ear,
Always a privilege for a poet to hear.
I eventually had nothing else to do,
Than to write a poem for you.

The generous palm so soft and simple,
Astonished the dove when he felt its tickle.
The world obliged as it was bestowed,
With the angel to which the heaven bowed.
I eventually had nothing else to do,
And so I write a poem for you.
