Idyllic Dreams Poem by Tan Pratonix

Idyllic Dreams

Rating: 5.0

drifting down a corridor,
a sudden glimpse:
the greenish haze
diffuses in her mind
a myriad of slender
winged things
and glimmers on
the gloomy walls alive.

lapping at her feet,
the lazy water shifts
a soggy tangled bough
on to the reeds;
dreaming of a dulcet kiss
upon her lips,
she seeks refuge
in idyllic fantasies.

Beautiful lyrical images weave in and out in this poem. It works well out loud. Sincerely, Alison

As Gina states this has a wonderfully dreamy flowing perfect form. 10 from dreams are the cake on the icing of her life, Tai
