If Love Should Die - Poem by Eila Mahima Jaipaul

you can not see me...
but hear me well
you have made a place in my heart
where I thought there was room for none
making flowers grow
where dust and stone were cultivated.

on this journey
I insisted on making,
if love should die
know, I will not survive it long.
