If You Want Me To Be Your 'Boo' Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

If You Want Me To Be Your 'Boo'

Don't you 'guess-what-chicken butt' me!
Unless it is prepared in a soup.
We've already wasted enough time,
Playing games with one another.
When are you going to get real and serious?
And take my feelings that way as well.
If you wish for us to be an 'item'...
You've got to minimize your juvenile ways.
I'm not into you for what you say you do!
I am into you for what I see.
And I see a lot of stuff you have got to drop.
IF you want me to be your 'boo'!
