Imitated Love Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

Imitated Love

Rating: 5.0

I just want cry on yr shoulder
But you never wanted to be touched
Embracing myself at night
Once in a while, where there's no one to do so
I feel the distance, as I try to wrap
My arms around my body
Imitating love from someone that is imaginary
As the weeping consoles my soul
I sleep kissing that someone
