In A Different Place Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

In A Different Place

In a different place,
Some choose to go.
To feel the quietness.
And release freely anxieties.
From issues others seem unable to leave,
Themselves to solve without a few involved.

In a different place,
One discovers in a meditative state of mind.
Noise avoided and from it to disconnect.
Others with their headaches,
Gone to not accept.
This place is owned by the one who finds,
Nothing else during this time to spend...
Is more important to prioritize.
Than one knowing where to go.
Without being told.
Or feeling it necessary,
To tell anyone what to kiss.
When, where or reason why.

In a different place.
Some choose and know,
What time it is...
To feel the quietness.
Without announcing it.
And done from others to disappear.
As if upon return,
Feeling more an observer.
No longer a participant of B.S. to accept.
