In Praise Of Baldness Poem by RAJ NANDY

In Praise Of Baldness

Rating: 5.0

Some get it early,
While others rather late,
The shining baldness on the head.
You save time combing,
And you never need a comb,
While a halo reflects -
On the upper dome!
You save on Brylcream, the barber
and the dye stick;
And your pillow remains forever sleek!
A bald head looks prosperous,
Both wealthy and wise,
It stands out loud, amidst all hairy guys!
Not bothered by winds, or sudden strong
gusts,
Brave and daring, till the very last!
Many a time it has been said,
Never tell hair- raising stories to a bald head!
Yet business entrepreneurs seek to
capitalise,
By tempting them with wigs of all shapes
and size!
There is no need for the bald to fume
or fret,
They will always get saved narrowly,
And by a hair's breath!
With nothing to sprout, and nothing to
hold,
A bald head forever remains confident and
bold!
