In The Key Of C Poem by Thomas Plotz

In The Key Of C

In the Key of C

Notes of song's, we shall see
Scales and rhythms be our rhyme
This time tempo, guides the notes

In the Key of C

88 key I have played, striking different cords,
Waving brandish swords, arresting at the melody
Transposed to similar played instruments', in another hip, key
Sometime with just the flip of a switch, and sleight of hand
The truth remains, I have played all the instruments, and
Enjoy, and love them, with the same lever of respectful, sway

In the Key of C

The next time you listen to your next Favorite song,
Listen long, for the complexities of underlining tones, or
Maybe yours is just a simple one to own,
Of three cords and the truth
Seems to be best, the blue, whole truth
Better than the rest, and easier to whistle

In the Key of C

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I have taken a music appreciation class, during which all instruments in an orchestra were played. We played the same song with each instrument; to Pachelbel's Canon.
