In The Light Poem by Jeri Martindale

In The Light

I am standing in the light again
no longer in the darkness
The beautiful colors
so far away, so long its been since
I laid my eyes upon them.

My heartbeats loudly
inside my tiny body
My eyes now shinning and sparkling.
Smiles fill my face
your fingers caress my skin
sweetly, heavenly your lips touch mine with a kiss.
