I looked deep into my past, but
could see nothing that told me
more about God.

Only a name. Only a word.

I looked deep into my future, but
could see nothing that held out
hope of knowing God.

Only a name. Only a word.

I stayed in the present moment
and there was nowhere and nothing
that God was not.

In every name. In every word.
