In Vain Poem by Kewayne Wadley

In Vain

Rating: 5.0

Those eyes.
The way they speak.
They show the world who you are.
Selfless in the deeds passed from your hand to the next.
The way they speak, compliments the reason God blew breath into your lungs.
A chance to truly fly without wings.
The heavenly hymns they sing.
Casting away fear with a single glimpse.
They scream to be heard.
Your eyes.
Although silent. You feel their caress as the warmth from the Sun.
Shedding light.
Casting away the shadows that may lurk in dark corners.
Selfless in a world so selfish.
Don't let these words go in vain as there is no need to worry
