Indeed, Only Human Poem by Richard Wlodarski

Indeed, Only Human

Rating: 5.0

I almost forgot
What it's like
To cry
Until I saw
The pain and sorrow
In your eyes
And your tears
Assured me
That it's OK
To cry
Indeed, only human

I almost forgot
What it's like
To laugh
Until I saw
Tears of joy
In your eyes
And your tears
Assured me
That it's OK
To laugh
Indeed, only human

You showed me
What it's like
To be human
When you shared
Your pain and sorrow
With me
And you taught me
How to cry
I took you
In my arms
And truly felt
Your pain and sorrow
And trembling
We cried
Together
You showed me
What it's like
To be Human
