Indego Strings Poem by Kewayne Wadley

Indego Strings

The gutair strums inbetween the drops of rain
fast but slow fingers that picture the symphony shared between you and I
whispers that taste the air as pictured if you were here
breaths that have found their way out of their dream as I was there
condensation fills the windows blank stare
as the drops of rain beads down the glass
If I could touch your voice I'd caress every sentence as the strums fill every drop thats fallen so far
needs laid bare as all I could ever want is the fulfillment that lights your face whenever you smile
slow lights that burn by the candle that softly kisses the wisps made by the air outside
wisps that pretend to be breath thats laid upon your skin
tender caress' that long to be spoken as the wisp that long to touch your lips
if eyes could speak then understand eternity wouldn't seem so long
slow strums that picture the symphony shared between you and I
breaths that meet the gates of heaven as together we both intwine in but a dream of reality
the harvest of what dream may be painted beneath a bridge
slow lights that burn by the candle that softly kisses the wisps
that lights the fire behind your eyes
slow strums that paint the symphony played without hands
