'Inhibited' Love? Poem by Fay Slimm

'Inhibited' Love?

Rating: 5.0

Gusting ice on passionate nature, a love
That favours repression holds back in shame.
It parades it's sham submission, and above
All it sees restraint as a must, and blames
Lower nature. Shows reluctance to share
With mutual wonderment. Union with
Both most treasured aspects, and true caring
Means ability to be self, yet forgive
What self is when untamed. Uninhibit
Your expression, do not impose limits,
Never insist on rules being rigid,
Delight in passion by hour, or minute
And give as good as you get, or better.
Affectionate nature has no regrets.

I think culture is more an inhibiting factor to love, it should be love with out limits... Andy 10
