Ink Blotches Poem by Kewayne Wadley

Ink Blotches

If I could find the words
to fill in the canvus that craddles you
whilst you sleep
then the tower of piza shall sparkle
at it's brightest
If I could somehow string together
a symphony
that could perfectly depict
exactly how much the twinkle in your eye
out shines the stars
then let the heavens become jealous
as all I could wish is to see them gleam
as the oysters pearls
that lay beneath the oceans floor
let the monarchs envy the warmth of your touch
as all they could ever want is to be
held before the passing of the season they call life
bright hues of candy chew orange
dark hues of candy coated liquorish
