Integrity
Integrity,
Once, pride
Now, all's that's
Left,
Is that cloudy
White scum,
That appears
After water
Evaporates
From boiling,
In Life's pot
And once you lose
That,
You should no longer
Be able to look
At yourself
In the mirror,
Or like Narcissus,
In a pond.
But today,
Like virginity
Integrity,
Is so often lost
Early,
For a certain price
And by a simple slice
From Life, its done
Never more to appear,
Just gone.
Integrity cannot be bought. We can have it in our character by learning to observe values in life like honesty. A truly noble poem....10+++❤️❤️❤️
