There was no cloud in the whole sky;
It was a lovely blue.
I was just walking leisurely
While coming from the zoo.
I had just seen the elephants,
Lions and monkeys, too,
And many other wondrous things
That one sees in a zoo.
Then suddenly my head was wet,
Which came as a surprise,
For since there were no clouds above,
what hit me from the skies?
A tiny bird was flying o'er;
It must have been him, then,
Who left a turd to smear my scalp;
He'll not do that again!
For from now on I'll wear a hat;
I'll not leave my head bare.
No more will flying excrement
Be landing in my hair!
Now every time I take a glance
Toward that lovely sky
I am so grateful, yes, I am,
That elephants don't fly!

Another wonderful poem, they all make me laugh, and I like the picture you chose to accompany it.

Very funny. Reminds me of a bird that got me when I was young and riding my horse one day. It got me on the cheek!
