The day is fine
I was greeted by a rooster
Shouting at the squirrel
Sitting upon a dung hill
Sweet girls with
Sleep still hanging from
Their eyelids walking to
The well with pots to fill
The day is fine
I watched the blue sky
Dotted with birds wake
Up early to chirp shrill
A group of cattle
Walking towards fields
With farmers shouting
Amidst sound of wheels
The day is fine
With the soothing wind
Blowing away the mists
To a virgin world reveal
