It would be so much easier to give up here and now,
But I still stand here planted and pliant somehow.
This naive nonchalance is neither here nor there;
Sometimes the strength to stand is a heavy load to bear.

It would be so much easier to never think about,
But I still stand here trusting and trying to figure out.
This passage of time past is neither here nor there;
And sometimes endless love is more than I can bear.

It would be so much easier, in love, to never fall,
But I still stand here hoping that I'm your all in all.
