Jump Poem by Heart of Ice Die Die Die

Rating: 5.0

I look around slowly
And I see the pain and suffering in this world
And I start to realize that
I am only a small part of that pain
And it wouldn't matter to anyone if one day
I just ceased to exist
No one would notice and no one would care.
So, I walked out one day and was about to jump
When somebody caught me from behind
Somebody who cared whether I ceased to exist or not
And I finally looked and saw all the love and happiness
That is in this world healing all this pain and suffering
I looked up and saw the person who caught me from behind
Just as I was about to jump,
And smiled.

There is an old man I pass every day and I say hello and ask how he is going- I know he lives on the street and I might be the only person who speaks to him. The pain and suffering of this world is all around us but we who are good gardeners must not stop tending it- if we do beautiful flowers like you might fade and die.
