Just A Small One Poem by Martin O'Neill

Just A Small One

IC means in charge
In the Army
I swear
It's true
I assume the word Alcoholic
Means alcohol
Is in charge
Of you.

Short and succinct, speaks its mind without exaggeration. An excellent penning.

A clever twist of fate (so to speak) initially we taste revolting alcohol to keep up with others, then enjoy ourselves and then (when I say we I mean me) then when I lost a loved one for nearly six months it was ic. Luckily I knew it was no good for me and now it's just once a week. Great write to ponder... Ty Karen
