Ssshhh! Poem by Martin O'Neill

Ssshhh!

Rating: 4.9

Slowly, softly, silently stalking
Stepping, slinking, squeezingpastthe
Shining, shimmering, scintillating
Bars of gold that threaten to
Stultify, stymie, stun into
Submission, subservience, somnolence.

A moment of lost concentration
And then
Spotted, stopped, stunned.
Momentarily squashed, squeezed and smitten.
Stumbling, stooping, slowing,
Stopping. Settling. Sleeping.
In the sunshine.
A cat.
Ssshhh!

We often see cat playing in sunshine. Moment of lost concentration is regained again. Slowly, softly and silently everything is stalking here. An interesting poem is shared and this is amazing...10..Congratulations!

Love this. Cats seem like such naive newcomers in some ways, fierce hunters though they may be.

Such imagination was used to describe this poem: by the time finished reading it I wasn't sure whether to laugh or cry - burst into tears? ? ? Congratulation for being recognise for the day!
