I'm a solitary bluebell,
I stand tall and proud,
I'm the same as the others,
Just stand out from the crowd.
I grew from a seed,
That blew with the wind,
I ended up here,
on a slight sloping hill.
Oh no! i'm not lonely,
Although I'm out of sight,
The sun is my friend,
And the stars every night.
The bees and the butterflies,
Quite often pass my way,
So I spend each moment,
enjoying my day.
I'm a solitary bluebell,
I never get picked,
Left here in the sunshine,
For that is my wish.
