Just Passing Through Poem by Ruta Mohapatra

Just Passing Through

Rating: 5.0

I know that I will die someday
Well, who does not?

Still it feels good
To be part of this process
Of birth, death and regeneration

To have seen this earth
Felt the spring wind
Slept under a starry sky
To have loved and been loved

Hi, Ruta! I was attracted by the title of this one—the overall title for all my poetry in While Passing Through. I relate in the biblical tradition to Abraham and the experience of being a sojourner. -Glen

Yeah, this is a beautiful experience. To be with nature and enjoying its bounty. A nice poem. simple and beautiful. Loved it.

Better to have lived than not live at all. Just passing through, never intended to stay but for the most part I've enjoyed the trip. Thanks poetess.
