Searched he, in rooms and garden sweet
Restlessly he ran, the queen, he had to meet
To every place he went, found no sign
Wished and prayed she might be all fine
Alone was he in the castle of his dreams
Looked all around but found no gleams
Sat on a rock, face wrapped in palms
Imagined his queen on one of the malms
Saw suddenly signs in the white sand
Followed footmarks made on strand
Queen searching king, reached a forest thick
Thirsty, hungry, tired, feeling very sick
Heard a voice calling, from far behind
Smiles and tears in her heart combined
Ran to her king fast with open arms
To arms, of her comforts and her calms
Queen and handsome king, wept and cried
Later they both smiled, tears dried
To the world of people they would go
They would play in or run in snow
Out came the moon, with her smiles
Showed them the castle, far off miles
