Kept Where It Has Been Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Kept Where It Has Been

Truth will always be kept,
Where it has been.

'And where would that be? '

Used to abuse.
Mocked to deceive alot.
Yet always seems to be,
A weapon too!
By lawyers claiming,
In court...
To defend their clients,
Against someone else...
Not being honest.
Knowing if they should win,
A case by lieing to the judge.
The fee they will be paid,
Would be higher to charge...
Whomever they represent,
To know them to be liars...
Dishonest and deceiving.

'But that to do,
Is not being truthful at all.'

Exactly.
And that's my point.
Truth will be kept,
Where it has been.
Left to have few defending it.
