Brilliant, Richard. 'Not... enough', I think, was a major part of \kerouac's life. I've always thought he felt he didn't accomplish what he envisioned...something was always not enough. Brilliant verse!
I believe that he was living in the shadow of his brother Gerard. Who could possibly accomplish enough in the shadow of a saint?
