Kerouac Lives - 299 Poem by Richard Wlodarski

Kerouac Lives - 299

Rating: 5.0

The full moon
Reflects life
Of darker
Side of me...
Howling wolf

Morning sun
Beckons me
To wake up
To true self
Then...I die

‘The darker side' on man often raises it head… true. Lovely piece, Richard.

Kerouac was constantly fighting with that darker side. He was very deeply concerned about where his soul would end up. Happy that you like the poem, Unni.
