Bones make me feel
But mind challenges age
And youth springs eternal
I remember a few years back, I was having a drink with a friend of mine who was nearly two decades older than I.We were watching a group of boys with these boogie boards braving the strong waves and under-tow. And my friend asked why he couldn't do that as well. I didn't have an answer.
2) cont'd: And is a great springboard for additional poetry! Many many THX, D.N.! !
D.N., I love this anecdote! And I greatly appreciate you taking the time to share it. This kind of feedback makes the experience fun and meaningful.
Wow! Kerouac never did reconcile body with soul, mind, or spirit. Could you, in this fantastic verse, be channeling that regret?

Daniel Brick's favourite positive word in commencing his comments was the word 'wow'. And if he was really impressed with someone's work, it would be a double 'wow'.
