I think that in Kerouac's case, it was a short life of so many forks. Tragically, the fork he most desired was to live well into retirement. D.N., Thx for your comment!

Thank you so much, Sandra. In The Kerouac Venture, I've tried to speculate on Kerouac's feelings and express them the the way he may have wanted. Especially towards Gerard and Jan!
