Kerouac Versus Satan Poem by Richard Wlodarski

Kerouac Versus Satan

Rating: 5.0

His spirit
Dwells in me
So haunting
Not in such
Scary way
Flameless light
In the dark
Now seeking
Such refuge
Devil come what may
Disheartened this way
Kerouac's back
In the attack
Feeding such great love
Satan's on the run

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
A lot of metaphysical phenomena has been happening during the writing of these Kerouac poems. I'm more fascinated than scared. And it's reinforcing for me that there is an afterlife. And it's BEAUTIFUL!

Dillip, it's eerie to be re-reading the notes on this one. When this phenomena was happaening, I was communicating with Daniel Brick about it. I was very shocked to hear bout him dying. I sincerely believe that he continues guiding me with The Kerouac Project.

Magnificent, Richard. Something here reminds me of Dr. Sax....You manage to set yourself on the waterway and then you proceed to get the great serpent on the run. This one goes right to myfavourites!
