Kindness In Friendship Poem by Paul Sebastian

Kindness In Friendship

I sought some bread-crumps friendship
Found searching only my own needs
Found friend using friends in relationship
People sunk chasing own needs

I walked wounded into loneliness
Disillusioned by my own expectation
Rare finding friendship’s kindness
In an arid world empty of compassion

Decided to move on
Hoping to stumble upon
Shelter to rest from
Wet, cold heart’s put-ons

I WALKED WOUNDED INTO LONELINESS is a powerful line of poetry. It sums up this sober poem which finds both individuals and society failing to secure one of our basic needs for companionship. The ending is sober and honest. You do not give us false hopes. We are summoned to make the world more friendly to friendship.

. It is so hard to find a good friend these days. Everyone is driven by his selfish interests! Sometimes people pretend to be friends...... but prove to be false in the end! It can pain us a lot! Reciprocity is an important factor to hold a friendship stable! When we expect, we should also be ready to give! Great write!

Friendship can be the most beautiful thing, but false friendship can sting like no other thing.
