Labor Day 2012 Poem by Walterrean Salley

Labor Day 2012

Rating: 5.0

I'm grateful for jobs that be,
And wish there were more.
Occupation is the fuel
Of our nation's core.

Those with employment,
Should appreciate such feat;
For those without a job
Have no means to eat.

Workers make a nation strong
(Such as it could be):
And we honor them this Labor Day,
For 'labor' is the key.

We are living in a world of no equality of any kind. Your concern is one without borders of nations.. We have to salute those who toil and help out the have nots
