Labyrinth Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Labyrinth

Rating: 4.0

The golden pen,
The golden ink,
With the laws always on my side;
The labyrinth of life,
Like the hill side of a river;
Living in the city of lions.

Rumble, tumble, crumble, stumble!
Like a message found in a bottle by the seashore;
No country for the old man! !
No country for the old woman,
With the bullets of war chasing them.

The show!
With the pieces of your life exposed to the world;
However, anything is possible in life if, you do work towards your dream.

At the office with a surprice!
Like editors in concert;
The ice of the artice,
To touch the heart with love;
The price of the rice,
To touch the soul with peace;
Find the truth and live with it.

Condensation,
Silent nights in the room of love;
With the truth made known to the world.

The city of donkeys!
The city of monkeys,
The city of elephants;
Friends with better hearts,
To feed the world with the laws,
With peace and love.

The spy game is seen all over the world!
But, stand up tall to the truth;
With light overcoming darkness,
Sneak, peak, speak, peak, weak!
The poor will never cease from the earth;
So, do extend your hands to them of you have the means.

Lock, gridlock!
Hatred and war;
Seen everywhere in the world,
But, love is what we need.
