Lashing Its Temper Poem by Jaishree Nair

Lashing Its Temper

Rating: 5.0

A sea of emotions surging
in the rhythm of the breakers,
Longing for a wishful melody of peace...
Its purity marred by the foaming flakes of the elegy of humanity.
Its impatience visible
in the spreading crimson vomits,
A forewarning to beware of the danger
threatening behind the calm surface,
Waiting to lavish its temper of torment!

A sea of emotions surging in the rhythm of the breakers, Longing for a wishful melody of peace... beautiful narration based on metaphor. Nice poem shared. Thanks.
