Last Chance Poem by Sandra Feldman

Last Chance

Rating: 5.0

We are at a Crossroad,
For this Nation,
The train has left the station,
And is sorely off the track,
Our priorities cannot wait,
Tomorrow will be too late,
Values must be put back in place,
WIN we must, this very last race.

This Nation,
Founded, to drown the misery,
That Europeans knew so well,
Must not succumb, to their wreched past,
Embrace falsehoods and false prophets,
That will not last,
Our pride in Truth and Justice uphold
Many were our teachers that carved this mold,
Our past was glorious, the future must be too.
We are the only Liberty, the World ever knew.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
For all who love this country, it must be saved and for the future of the world too. I say this in a most humble but heartfelt way, if we go, Liberty goes.

Absolutely terrific poem, I agree with your poem and it's meaning wholeheartedly! Our world has fallen into the enemy's hands, we must stand united and rise above this evil, bringing it to it's knees. It is true that if liberty goes, so do we all, right into tyranny's lap! Thank you for sharing this truth with the world! Give you 100 - 10's if possible. RoseAnn

The world is in a terrible place right now, it needs all the help it can get.
