Late Night Enjoyment - Poem by Michael P. McParland

Kira how I wish I was there with you
sharing a night of enjoyment in each others
arms snuggling before sleep time arrives,
rather in bed on the couch or some little
space in the house we've made for ourselves
I just want a late night of enjoyment
my sweet Angel of light.
A late night of enjoyment with the Queen
I give myself in pure love and heart.

A late night of enjoyment and fun
would be just holding you so close to me
as we read to each other, talked,
or watched a movie and some TV.
A late night of enjoyment is that
as well as possibly bonding and then
all of that as well just feeling so close
but tonight it's the innocent
I want most as I just hold you close before sleep
and say Kira I love you so deep
you are the Angel whose heart I treasure and need.
Kira my dear you are the one that I love
and not another person has ever had so much effect
upon this heart and soul I give to you.

I just want a night of enjoyment with you
right where you are at this very time
to hold you so close and look in your eyes,
I want to see you smile as you look into mine
and realize again that all that I've said
is totally true and that I completely love you.
I just want a late night of our honest love
playing games and having such fun
like we always did before torn apart by things on the outside,
I want a late night of bonding through words
and having a good time with laughs that will last,
I want a late night of excitement with Kira
my sweet Angel dove of pure light,
I want a late night of excitement knowing the world
is finally right as I hold my lady in pure love
so very close and so very tight in reassurance and care.
