Lauren - Poem by Edward Hammer

I'll never forget your friendly smile
Grace and poise walking down the aisle
Church bells ring a wedding chime
A wonderful life would shine in time

You raised our son as a purpose in life
Nurtured me as a loving wife
The tender support for life's harsh blows
You were always there, to mend our woes

So many people were touched by you
You helped in life, to get them through
They showed support that we did need
A timely help we both agreed

Your life cut short, you left me now
I try going on, going on somehow
I know for sure and feel the breeze
Of your sweet voice and memories

Your sorrow has truly touched me. I hope it gets easier for you as time goes on. Sincerely, Mary (Report) Reply
