Arousing uplifting scent
Always overwhelmed

Poet's Notes about The Poem

I was with my spouse, on a trip, traveling abroad, when we past a lavender field; at first, the scent was pleasant, but soon was over powering. Also the color, wonderful as a whole, but just a speck, for a single plant. A simple Haiku. The story was longer.
