Leave Before You Bleed Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Leave Before You Bleed

If I said pack it up
And put it in a truck!
Drive away from me forever
Since my doors to you will be shut!
Would you think I was serious,
If I called the police on you?
When I told you 'I-have-had-it'...
Were you waiting for me to scream,
And yell too?
There is nothing about a cheat,
I want around me creeping!
You better leave before you bleed...
And be glad for every dropp of blood you're keeping!
