When fret and worry
Make you go amiss;
Let your mind just think
Of the Lord's promise.

When dark shadows make
You stay in the night;
Let your eyes open
To see the dawn's light.

When voices are just
Hard to comprehend;
Let your ears hear the
One whom God did send.

When hate and anger
Take away the mirth,
Let your heart possess
Greatest love on earth.

When you are lost,
Know not what to do,
Just let your soul search
For the path so true.

When the whole world is
In strife and chaos,
Let your life live by
God's laws so righteous.
