Let me have the patience to wait
For the beautiful promised land;
Lord, let my moan evaporate,
Please, let me obey Your command.
Let me endure hardship and pain,
While living my life here on earth;
Let the strength of my mind remain,
Till I gain the heavenly mirth.
Allow me to have fortitude
In front of the adversity;
Let my heart and spirit include
The courage to face misery.
Let me persevere to finish
My race and sojourn, O Father;
Let not my good deed diminish,
In spite of the daily danger.
Allow me to express no grief,
Despite distress and pestilence;
Soon I'll feel the sense of relief,
Please, Lord, let me have the patience.
