Let My Ignorant Bliss Be Poem by Aniruddha Pathak

Let My Ignorant Bliss Be

Rating: 5.0

And when I wake up and see
World no more exists for me,
If there's in life no Maya,
I'd wonder if maza in life aaya!

Imagine all props are out,
Realities only stare,
And life is all bottoms bare!
There goes life's wonder-filled pout.

Laugh's lost and lost is life's plot,
Hair bristle nor yet there's thrill,
Sans excitement sets in chill,
Maya when goes life gets hot.

Maya, like a video game
Of man's existence in name,
If software gets decoded,
If source code breached, secret spread,

O where would be fun ahead?
Knowledge melting limited,
Ignorant bliss no more shame,
Fun fizzles if shy feels this dame.

If children are we of God
Let this wonderful toy be,
Let this ignorant bliss be,
Peas prosper but in closed pod.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Maza is joy in Hindi, aaya means came in. The line then means: if there is no Maya, no illusion, one wonders whence joy in life would come. It is Maya that the world looks beautiful.

Thank you Mahtab Bangalee, I often use a tongue-in-cheek mode or a lighter note to express my thoughts.

Let this ignorant bliss be, Peas prosper but in closed pod Thoughtful and meditative, even with our eyes open we are closed to the bounds of realities sights, living in a virtual mists of higher realities. Deeply provocative.

When a reader also thinks in the same mode as the poet, there I think is perfect fit. Thank you Kevin Patrick.
